A: Landscaping is what makes the outside of your office or apartment beautiful. It improves the appearance by incorporating your surroundings and needs to reflect and enhance the property. Basically it invites people to want to come to your property.

Picture this possibility: You hire a gardener as an independent contractor who does not need a license to mow the grass. But in the course of his or her duties, he or she is asked and does cut limbs higher than 15 feet off the ground or repairs sprinkler heads. The worker is injured and seeks workers compensation benefits. Because the worker is performing tasks that require a license, and is unlicensed while working for you, he or she is considered an employee of YOURS. If you don’t carry workers compensation coverage – you’re in trouble.
A: No. We do not charge for serious inquiries.
A: Kirton’s Landscape takes a personal interest in our clients because the owner is always at each job to make sure everything is perfect. A: If you use a good fertilizer you can fertilize every three months. Many inferior fertilizers breakdown and disintegrate through the soil within a few weeks, leaving your grass tall and green, however, once it is cut back down the grass will wither again. A good fertilizer will slowly release nutrients and will break down over a period of time, ensuring your grass stays green.
A: Primarily and most importantly check your watering. Any plant or yard that does not get enough water is going to wither and die. Other causes could be fungus, insects or weather conditions that are effecting the health of your plants or yards.
A: This is a very tough question because there are many factors to consider, such as:
– What kind of soil?
– Is it sunny or shady?
– Is it grass or a flower bed or both?
Generally in the summer you will need to water your grass at least 15 minutes a day for 5 days a week. For a planter bed at least 6 to 7 minutes a day for 5 days a week.
